Terms of Sale

These terms apply to purchases of made-to-order furniture and installation services from Matera Pty Ltd. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Made-to-order pieces

• Every piece is manufactured to order in your chosen finish. Lead times shown on product pages are estimates and start when payment (or approved quote) is confirmed.
• Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery is quoted separately based on your address.
• Finish previews on screen (including procedural renders and AI visualisations) are indicative only — colour and texture should be confirmed against a physical sample, which we provide free on request.

Orders placed without card payment

Where checkout completes without payment, your order is a reservation: we confirm the final quote (including delivery) by email, and no obligation arises until you approve it and pay the deposit.

Installation services

• Installation quotes are based on the photos, measurements and information you provide. Material defects in the substrate discovered on site may change the quote — we'll always tell you before proceeding.
• You warrant that you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work.

Changes & cancellations

Because pieces are made to order, changes or cancellations are free until production begins. After production starts, we may charge for materials already committed. Installation bookings can be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice.

Warranty

Matera workmanship and applied film are covered by our [10-year] wrap warranty against peeling, lifting and delamination under normal indoor use, in addition to (not instead of) the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, impact, cutting on wrapped surfaces or exposure outside the film's rated environment.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the relevant goods or services or refunding the amount paid for them.
