Matera Pty Ltd (“Matera”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Orders — name, email, phone, delivery address and order details, so we can make and deliver your pieces.
• Quote requests & newsletter — name, email, phone, suburb and project details you choose to share.
• Account — if you sign in, our authentication provider (Auth0) handles your credentials; we never see or store your password.
• Visualiser photos— photos you edit in paint mode never leave your device. If you use the optional AI transform, your photo is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the preview and is handled under Google's API terms; we do not store it.

How we use it

• To fulfil orders, provide quotes and deliver services.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To send occasional updates if you subscribed — every email includes an unsubscribe option.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this site: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing — we never see your full card number), Auth0 (sign-in), and Google Gemini (optional AI previews). We do not sell your personal information.

Storage & security

Data is stored with our providers using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We keep order records as required for tax and warranty purposes.

Access, correction & complaints

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at [hello@matera.com.au]. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you can complain to us first, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if unresolved.
